A RAISIN IN THE SUN / PLAY POSTER
A Raisin in the Sun is a play written by Lorraine Hansberry about the life of an African American family and how they deal with moving away from poverty in the inner cities of Chicago. This poster draws on the white picket fence shapes, and the green colors of money to symbolize the 'gating out' of the family, and how economical status and race play such a large part of being accepted as they deal with moving into a house in the suburbs of Chicago.
